    Professional and Honest Plumber

    Ken did a speedy and professional job. He first gave me advice over the phone on how I might try to fix our broken drain pipe in our in our old 1950's house. I gave it a shot, and realized I was in way over my head. Ken was able to come in the next day and did a great job. He spared us a few years of having to replace the old cast iron pipes, thank goodness.

    Plumber With a Heart

    Ken Pieper is a master plumber with a heart. First of all he really is a master, he took one look at our dilapidated furnace that's older than the state of CO and bravely found a solution to get it running without breaking the bank. A number of other contractors wanted to install a completely new system, and refused to work on the one we had. It turned out it just needed some WD40 on a gas valve, and needed to be lit with a torch long enough to reach the pilot light. It's amazing to think what might have happened if Mr. Pieper hadn't been one of the bidders on our job. We had to abandon our old family house here many years prior due to personal problems and when we returned it was in very sad condition. Ken Pieper was warm and understanding even through the most difficult of times. He never made us feel embarrassed or uncomfortable, and he wasn't eager to replace things that didn't need replacing he just knew exactly what needed to be done. He found a reasonable and very efficient crew to excavate a broken lead waterline that ran from the street to our 130 year old home after other contractors told us we would have to cut down at least one of the ancient and grand cottonwoods that were in their way. Ken's team ran the new copper pipe under the tree without disturbing it at all. The team had the whole thing done in a day and they even replaced the sidewalk square they had to excavate as well all for a fraction of the cost of his competitors. Ken also installed a new bathroom on the first floor, fixed the gas lines for our stove, installed an excellent water heater, fixed a number of sinks and the shower faucet, cleared the lines and a ton of other things that would take too long to list. As far as our old house is concerned, and as far as we are concerned Ken Pieper is the only plumber in town.

    Repair/replace main sewer line from house to street

    We were in a horrible situation, one of the kind you would never think of really. We never did until it happened. Our house was built in 2002 & we are the first & only owners. After almost 13yrs of living here our basement toilet overflows & floods the lower floor. Not just a normal backed up toilet. It came up the sinks & the bathtub also. I spent a week cleaning & washing out the carpets with fans doing the drying. It was horrible!! I began calling plumbers to check the situation out. 5 different companies showed & gave their estimates between the low of $6500 & the high of $19,000. Our sewer piping was 'bellied' in 2 different places between the house & the city of Thorntons connection, all our responsibility. The builders were in such a hurry, (assuming), or didn't know what they were doing & now we are the ones responsible to have it repaired & pay for it.
    I don't know what we'd have done if not for Ken Pieper. Packed a bag & walked away from our 'American Dream'. He was referred to me by a co-worker after seeing the disheveled mess I'd become over it. Trust me, it's not easy when you can't do laundry, take showers & flush toliets!!!! Ken explained the problem & had no issues SHOWING us what we were dealing with. He gave us a more than reasonable price, & even better than that, he gives of himself. I will never use another plumber regardless of the job, big or small. This guy is an Angel, far as I & my husband are concerned!!
