    Stairs from existing deck
    $8,000

    If you're doing a deck or stairs, you will be thrilled with Ken's work and attitude. Make sure to get multiple quotes so that you realize how good of a deal he is offering you (he was over 30% less than another quote we got!). Not only did he work fast and for long hours, he was in tune with all of the detail elements of the job (and dealt well with my perfectionism). The finished product is magnificent! He also went above and beyond with accommodating us (working around our toddler's nap time, bringing his own green waste bin to help us with a tree we had to trim for the job, going through piles of lumber to get us the best materials that will last for decades to come). Ken Rector Construction is the best kept secret in Auburn for decks - schedule with him soon before word gets out!

    Ken just finished our AMAZING two story deck on sloped yard! He was diligent in working on our deck until it was completed and only took a few months. We saw him everyday and he became like family. He's such a hard worker! barely breaking for lunch each day and staying late to get ready for inspections. We are so happy and highly recommend his work.

    Build a three tier deck with metal railing and finish

    I hired Ken to replicate a three tier deck stepping down from my front door landing to my garage. As soon as I showed him the pictures, I knew that he understood what I wanted and could deliver the goods. He was on time; He worked steadily at a pace that floored me; He completed the deck in record time (five days). The deck is beautiful and perfectly constructed. Ken is an awesome craftsman and I would hire him for any home project.

    Deck Built

    Ken did a fantastic and very meticulous job of finishing our deck project after we had to let go of our original contractor for many reasons. He was extremely professional throughout the project first correcting all the mistakes the previous contractor created. He quoted a price at the beginning and even though there was probably more work than he anticipated stuck with the original quote. His work ethic and follow through was something I hadn't experienced in many years. Every day before he left he cleaned up the work sight very thoroughly. Frankly if I could give him 10 stars out of 5 I would. There's only one person I would call for my construction needs and that would be Ken Rector.
