Avoid this person. We wrote $60K in checks to him, he didn't pay his team, broke and damaged expensive furniture through his carelessness. Randomly appeared and ultimately took off to Texas leaving our project in shambles. Not one single room was finished and the house was constantly a mess.

AVOID! Kendall Smith is a con artist. We hired him through Thumbtack and he stole over $7k from us and ghosted us. We have worked with countless professionals throughout our full home remodel and have not had one issue. Kendall, in contrast, missed every deadline, had sketchy behavior like working at night, spotty communication, not taping walls, unresponsive for short periods of time, and when he finally ghosted for good, had his ex-wife and colleague text us on his behalf. Dealing with Kendall the past couple months has been a complete nightmare I wouldn't wish upon my worst nightmare. We are working with Thumbtack to try to get a refund. This experience has honestly shaken me to the core and has shaken my faith in humanity. I will never trust a professional in my home again and will be extremely conservative and rigorous with contracts/deposits/legal going forward.

Kendall Smith is not a good person. He hires help then refuses to pay them when the job is finished.
I had Kendall do a job for me,he hired another painter to do the work and never paid that person.
I think that is just not right. The painter did good work and didn't desearve to be treated so poorly.

Well guess I am not the only one to have had an absolutely dreadful experience with Kendall after hiring him to do a 30k project on my large home in belvedere. He is a thief and completely inconsistan, he does not have a current license l, I also found drug parfinelia in his work area. Ultimately he stole 30k that I paid up front for the paint project 20% done Never to see him again.
He has bad energy doesn't pay his workers and screws over people. STAY AWAY!!!!!
