Though the service was within a few days, once access was permitted to property, after Hurricane Sandy and the Public Adjuster "had a guy who would work with them"...
He came to the house, and asked for a deposit, with no quote, stating everything is different, and he would get it out to me, but was conveniently so busy he did still not have the time when I asked him to remove his equipment, which was not operational when I arrived..
So, I was under the impression that the $1,000 paid was 50% of the estimated total. There was no quote given, no estimate, and " Everything would be sent over soon..." which never came. But yet he had my signature, and again rushed me to sign acceptance while the Electrical Inspector was on the property, when he responded to my request to pick up his equipment.
How convenient that now, we advised the Public Adjusters we received a partial on the repair money from the insurance company, and not 2 hours after we are getting a call demanding payment. We had not even recieved the bill!
My review would be to BEWARE of this one!
