Mr Nichols was engaged by us for a large renovation and addition project. From the very start, he was unorganized, sloppy, performed not to code work with his “crew” that we think were his parents or in laws. He got “stranded” in the Bahamas and stopped answering calls and texts, did not deliver goods for which he was paid in advance to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars. Do not use this individual or K and P contractors.

Save yourself a headache and look elsewhere. Everything Kevin’s crew did for us is falling apart months after “completion.” Decking that is supposed to last a lifetime is warping months after the instillation. They only showed up when they said they would to pick up a check.

Kevin missed his deadline by 3 weeks. He took days off in the middle of the project to work on other projects. The shower floor he installed leaked into the new kitchen. He was flaky at best to look at it and recommended a silicone fix which is not the way to fix the issue if you do any research. Since then he has been a no call no show to resolve the issue.

Stay far away from Kevin Nichols and K & P Construction he is an absolute CON artist and an absolute thief! He was hired to build a large residential project and a month into the framing he started disappearing days and then weeks at a time unable to get ahold of him. He started giving an excuse for everything from last minute "injuries" to being in the hospital with shingles just minutes before we we scheduled to meet on site. This happened 10-15 times before we fired him. We put a very large down payment for materials due to the long lead times impacted by the supply chain issues which we never received. He would text what was ultimately fake pictures of shingles, lumber, roofing he promised to have on site the next day and then a no show. We ended up contacting vendors he supposedly had ordered material from and it was all a scam. The orders were never made and instead he pocketed all our money and ran. Kevin Nichols belongs in jail and it goes to show he has a history of doing it!
