I have had a terrible experience, that is continuing. My pool was destroyed by the woolsey fire and I hired Kevin to replace all the equipment, and resurface the pool replacing everything. The job cost 24000. Once the pool was filled, we noticed that the water level was evaporating quicker than usual. Kevin kept coming over and doing repair work with out telling me what he was doing. It turns out that he was patching the pool skimmer as he had cut corners and did not replace it. When I realized what was happening, he stopped answering my calls. He has not responded to any of my emails either. Finally I had to shut the pool motor off, the pool has gone green, and I have had to hire another pool contractor to dig out and replace the skimmer. This work is now at a cost of 10,000, when he should have done it when the pool was totally resurfaced it would have been only a few hundred dollars. I have interviewed many pool contractors and they have told me that no doubt he was negligent. Now I have to file a complaint with the contractors board and file a lawsuit for my costs and legal advice.
