Our “Mother-in-Law” unit in Boca Grande (Gasparilla Island) was destroyed in Hurricane Ian and we were desperate to find someone to help us rebuild it. A friend of ours mentioned Nicholas Ionashku of Key Construction. We immediately met with Nicholas and were thoroughly impressed. He listened to our goals for for the building, had great ideas of how we might improve it, and quickly presented an extremely thorough and detailed quote and timetable. Despite numerous unexpected problems, not only did he complete the project on time but also within the initial budget. He also successfully navigated an extremely complicated permitting process. He was professional, detailed, and meticulous (in fact, our cleaning lady commented on how clean the place was kept even during construction). We have remodeled three other houses and built one from scratch, but Key Construction was far and away the best contractor we have used. Nicholas was a true pleasure to work with.
