    First floor remodel
    $53,000

    As a new member of this community, I want to warn others about my negative experience with Keys Construction and Remodeling in Petoskey. My wife and I purchased a summer home in July 2024 and hired the contractor, John Jenks, in October 2024. Unfortunately, he failed to meet deadlines, compromised the integrity of our hardwood floors, and only partially completed one of the three rooms. I recommend exploring alternative remodeling options. Also we paid him $53k to date and asked for $20k back in which he replied he didn’t have any money left! He Spent $53k of our money in 8 mos and completed nothing. Home owners beware do not contract with this company!
