"Overpromise and underdeliver" should be Jon's slogan. A 2 months job (taking it slowly) ended up being a 9 months endeavor. While at first Jon was very responsive in getting a detailled quote and getting the work started he slowly stopped any inspection in person, his only visits were on Sunday evenings begging for money to pay his rent while portions of the job were behind. His crew has changed multiple times, with the last one only speaking Portuguese while neither us nor him did ! Communication with the crew was done through Google translate and once again Jon never showed up in person to verify the quality of work, only to collect money ... and it shows ! Walls painted with different colors (the same wall sometimes had grey and white streaks !), horrible finish: parts never painted, the new windows never got sealed ! Paint and concrete stains on brand new flooring ! Jon contracted CQS HVAC a known criminal and crook who again, took the full payment (why on earth would you fully pay him before he finished the work Jon ???) And never finished his work even after extorting ME and extra $1,000...
To this day Jon ignores me and refuses to finish the work prompting me to contact his insurance or going to the small claim court "there is not enough money left to finish" you have a singed contract and I will be sure you understand the consequences.
I do not recommend, avoid, flee ! Jon is nice and weaponizes it, do not be fooled, you will overpay for a disappointing and unfinished work.
