This contractor company is a ripoff. On August I entered into a contract with contractor for my home kitchen repairs. They took a $200 deposit and never did the work. Dwayne the owner said he had difficulties and would return my $200 deposit. He has not yet. I am now going to sue him in court for the return of my $200 deposit. I contacted Better Business Bureau too.

HORRIBLE! Do not waste your time or money. Like most contractors have proven... he's not a man of his word. He lied! He did not have the funds to do the 203K Project which he was contracted to do. I blame my lender as well for this approval of a contractor. He attempted to do work on his own therefore delaying the project for months! I can't even begin to express the pure anger behind having to deal with Dwayne Wiggins. Everyone needs to know that KIJ Contracting is a joke- a mockery to all good contractors. If my letter of termination to him wasn't so long I'd post it in this review. Needless to say... I hope that 19,000 dollars gets him far. I literally feel robbed. Not to mention, I could have been left with severe damage as he left my property on weakened, unstable, wood after removing a loadbearing wall.
Dwayne Wiggins, supposed family man, the family owns Mama's BBQ in Maplewood NJ, shame on you to disgrace your family in such a way. I don't even want to click a star for rating period but I can't submit the review without doing so. Disgusted!!!!!
