I requested plumbing service for my dad’s residence which is in Aiken County about 15 miles outside of the Southside of Aiken. Sometimes it is difficult to find a company located in the city that will drive the distance to service someone in the rural area of Aiken County. Dan Schmalz was my plumber for this job. My dad’s hot water heater has been leaking water for years. A handy man thought the hot water heater had expired and they changed it out. The water was still leaking. I wanted a licensed, bonded, and insured plumber to come out to maintenance the hot water heater. I called Kimballs’ to schedule service. Kimball’s sent Dan Schmalz. Dan diagnosed the problem as too much pressure was coming into the house. Dan worked to adjust the pressure relief valve. Took some digging and figuring out which water meter he needed to work from, and Dan completed the job. Dan diagnosed the maintenance required and the price quote. He received confirmation to complete the job and he did. Dan did an excellent job. And as I told my 91-year-old, there are maintenance jobs these days that really do required a trained, licensed, professional, bonded, and insured plumber to fix it. I highly recommend Kimball’s Heating, Plumbing and Electrical services. I have been using them for over 30 years and I have always been pleased at their promptness and the nice personality of the service guys and how they explain what they are doing. They clean up after the service and leave the job spotless. Thanks, Dan, for driving 15 miles outside of Aiken to service a 91-year-old man’s plumbing problem. This will surely save us some money on that water bill now.
