Kinetic Design Lab is an interdisciplinary architecture, landscape and interior Design + Build firm founded on three basic principles; Honor, Integrity and Fortitude. Working in collaboration with our clients, engineers, fabricators and crafts people of all types; the firm strives to produce work which is not forced into any pre-defined style, but rather expresses the innate human desire for beauty at all scales.
Founded by Devin Robinson in 2008 after family members suffered devastating personal property loss due to Hurricane Ike, KDLab specializes in advocating for, and representing, the client and their interest. Our focus is to maintain a strong dialouge while navigating the many processes involved in the execution of any project, including but not limited to; design, engineering, cost analysis, budget review, permitting, construction management and closeout.
It is our philosophy that any building endeavor comprises a team of individuals with differing expertise and no one individual can accomplish a project to be proud of on their own. We encourage our team members to take pride in the work they do. We are always interested in developing new Clients and encourage them to be a part of the process, from start to finish.

I worked with Kinetic Design Lab to develop the plans for my new retirement home. The home is currently under construction in the Texas Hill Country on a lot with a very steep slope. The design created by KDL was planned around the natural landscape and oriented to take advantage of the magnificent lake views. They believe the best plans work with nature instead of against it and created a beautiful design that meets all of my wants and needs. I have complement confidence in Mr. Robinson and his team and highly recommend them.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with KDL. I have been undergoing a residential renovation for some time now and have called upon KDL for many projects (Kitchen remodel, new roof on residence, closet remodel, flooring, etc.). Mr. Robinson and his team are top notch. Mr. Robinson has taken the time, care and has offered his seemingly limitless knowledge of architecture and interior design to every aspect of my projects. I have found that his firm is very detail oriented. Contractors are always on time and finish their jobs within deadline (even early on a few occasions!). From lighting to plumbing, wood floors to painting and roofing KDL always delivers quality work, within budget, and my projects are phenomenally completed. If you are looking for an architect/designer who really cares about you, your needs and your budget look no further. KDL has you covered.
