  replace a leaky skylight

  My repair was quoted by Bo for $500. The following Saturday a different man showed up and did the work in less than 2 hours! I was then told it was $!,700! However, the invoice was greatly inflated, required a check payable to Kevin Miller! Bo insisted I make the check to him! A PERMIT WAS NOT PULLED FOR THE WORK. THE NUMBER OF SHINGLES USED WAS NOT ONLY INFLATED, BUT THE SHINGLES DO NOT MATCH! I believe the shingles were left over from another job! It took weeks for Mr. Miller to return a call. He finally agreed to return $1,000. He has returned $300 and is again UNREACHABLE. I am a female senior and I have been SCAMMED! BEWARE,INSIST ON PROOF OF INSURANCE AND LICENSE!!!!!

  Had my roof replace in 2000 by Kevin Miller. He and his crew did a fantastic job. It has been 11 years and not a single issue. The went through the Hurricanes of 2004-2006 and we live on the barrier island. Not one shingle lost and they still look great today.
  I highly recommend Kevin Miller Roofing.

  I received an estimate from Mr. Miller to repair my leaking roof in late March. After some deliberation about how to proceed with this repair I made the decision to have Mr. Miller repair my roof, that's when things got bad.
  In the middle of his repair work I noticed my Air Conditioning wasn't working (my A/C units are located on the roof) and I questioned Mr. Miller about this. He called a "buddy" who was an electrician, they replaced a switch and supposedly everything was ok, if only that were true. My A/C continued not to operate properly and after enduring a weekend without A/C I was able to get a repairman to come look at it. After 3 minutes on the roof he came back and informed me that someone had drilled a roofing screw through the evaporator coil of my A/C unit, and then covered it with roofing tape.
  After hearing this I called Mr. Miller and explained to him what had happened. He admitted having recently fired an employee who was doing bad work and asked me how much the damage would cost to repair. I notified him it was $1,455.00, he asked if he could pay me back in two installments and I agreed. I called him back the following Monday to determine when he would like to make the first payment and at that time he began denying everything. He said "you can't prove anything, so I guess you'll have to get a lawyer". Obviously I was disappointed, but as a matter of principle I did get an attorney. This is where things get comical, Mr. Miller refused to sign for the certified letters my attorney sent him, twice!!
  Miller Roofing did significant damage to my building and does not respond to multiple forms of communication including normal US Mail, Certified Mail, E-Mail, and Phone. My interactions with Miller Roofing have been frustrating, unproductive and costly. After many months have passed, and faded hopes of their conscience forcing them to do the right thing, I am sad to say that I am proceeding with a lawsuit.
  For obvious reasons I can't in good conscience recommend Miller Roofing. On top of all of this, MY ROOF STILL LEAKS!!!!!
