This company is scam!!! Stay away!
A gas furnace was purchased from and installed by Kliemann Brothers on 6/29/2015. Kliemann Brothers did not invite Renton City to make any inspection as required, after the installation was done.
The furnace had been installed with the exhaust vent in the attic. This has resulted in excessive condensation. The attic has water stains on nearly every framing member visible. Seller reports that the furnace exhaust and intake were reversed. This has since been corrected but appears to have caused significant damage to the attic. Several areas throughout the house are leaking.
The issue was found by an inspector hired by me in this January, five years later. Kliemann Brothers came in to make a simple correction by reverting the air intake vent with the exhaust vent after receiving the issue report from me.
Kliemann Brothers invited and hired an inspection company to estimate the cost of dry wall process and damage fix. The estimated cost of inspection, dry wall and damage fix are $6000, around $10000 respectively. Kliemann Brothers approved the company to start the dry wall work on the house.
Right after the dry wall was done, the condensation disappeared from the attic and roof, Kliemann Brothers denied the roof leak is caused by the condensation, after having a look by roofers.
The roof is five years old. The roof leak is only identified on the living room and kitchen areas. The same roof at the garage and other areas does not leak at all. The hot and wet air from the exhaust vent has spread to the back side of roof in living room and kitchen areas for five years.
The fix work already stopped. The ceiling on three locations was teared off with 4'x4' windows for dry wall. Kliemann Brothers only agrees to pay half of charge of inspection and dry wall.
