We made a HUGE mistake hiring Davis Contracting (aka KLS of the Carolinas) owned by Roger Davis for a really large fire renovation. Obtained permits from the city for electrical and plumbing however used his own guys to do the work, project took 3 months longer than it should have days he didn't show up added up to months of no shows, bullied to pay, put lien on home because we wouldn't pay before the final inspection was due and then increased our cost to make up for his cost to his lawyers, charged us for work that was paid by StateFarm, called me a POS and my RING video caught it, floors were stained and then re-done because of "white line syndrome" and now facing the same issue again, items stolen from our home multiple times during renovation due to not changing code on lock, NO communication from GC during project took it upon himself to do things as if he owned the home, VERY temperamental, do your research lots of claims on circuit court for all 3 counties, hard to work with and OVERALL terrible experience!!!!!!! Do NOT hire this company or you will regret it.
