I had contacted several contractors for estimates to finish my basement. They either didn't show, showed up and never called back with an estimate or called back 3 weeks later. I had one contractor promise a 3-D rendering in 3 weeks. Still waiting for it 5 weeks later. Luckily, somebody I know was having their kitchen remodeled by KMG Home renovations. Arranged for KMG to come over for an estimate. Kris came on a Wednesday and was willing to start on the following Monday. I had to request that they begin several days later because I had a plumber coming in that Monday. Kris and Pawel were extremely professional and very neat. They covered floors and furniture and sealed off areas to contain the dust. They cleaned up at the end of every day. Once the hammering was done, you didn't even know they were there. One of the most important things for me was that they were coming up with suggestions. Since they do this for a living, they would have a better idea of how certain things should be done. Some of the other contractors would only say, "whatever you want we can do." Not what I was looking for. They also had no problems when we requested changes or additional work to be done in the middle of the job. Based on the estimate of another contractor, KMG was very reasonable. If you are looking for a professional job at a reasonable price, then I highly recommend KMG Home Renovations. I am extremely happy with my basement renovation and already have arranged for KMG to do additional work. They easily earned the 5 star rating.
