    KMK Contracting did an excellent job with our unusual kitchen remodel. We have a split level home and wanted to extend the kitchen, which is on the middle level, out into the playroom, which is on the lower level. KMK extended the kitchen floor by three feet on one side of the kitchen, and built a pony wall where it overlooks the playroom. They also opened up a large section of the other kitchen wall and build another pony wall there so we could have a more open feel, but still have a place for under counter cabinets.

    We contacted several contractors for bids, and Kevin was by far the best at replying to our inquiry and providing a bid in a timely manner. They also focused on doing the project "right" rather than cutting corners to put in an artificially low bid. They recommended we contact an architect for help with the planning and permitting process. We were reluctant to do so, but it was definitely the right call in the long-run. It made the permitting process go much more smoothly and all of the folks working on the project repeatedly referred to the professional blueprints to make sure the project was done correctly.

    Kevin, Brandon, Philip, and all of the tradesmen Kevin brought in were very professional, reliable, and hardworking. They were also very patient and supportive of our plan to do some parts of the project ourselves to save money. Kevin always responded to calls and emails in a timely manner, and when a few small issues inevitably came up along the way he made sure they were corrected quickly and at no additional cost to us. We added a few line items to the project as it went along, but over all the entire project came in very close to the original bid and was very reasonably priced for the excellent quality of work. We will definitely recommend them to friends and hire them for future work.

    We have lived in our home for almost 30 years and have done countless remodeling projects. For the first 15 years we used the same man. When he moved I thought we’d never find someone as good.     remodel and upgrade property to sell

    Kevin and the KMK Contracting team did an extensive remodel and upgrade on a piece of rental property that I had decided to sell. Since I live out of the area, I relied on Kevin and his team to basically take care of everything without much involvement from me. I met with him at the property and he and I went over the project and agreed on a plan and time frame. Kevin was easy to talk to, very informative, had a great eye for detail . Kevin called me a few days later and we went over any questions I had. Kevin and the KMK Contracting team started a week later and finished within the time frame I had requested. Kevin sent me photos and the finished product spoke for itself and this property sold quickly. Dealing with Kevin was easy and he made this project pretty stress-free for me. I have a few more projects coming up that I will be hiring KMK Contracting to do.

    I had a rental property that I decided to sell in the Bay Area and I needed a contractor that would take care of the entire project from permits to inspections . Since I live out of the area it was priority to me that the contractor doing this project was someone who I could communicate with and understand that I did not want to have to "micro-manage" this project at all. I made the trip to the property and met with Kevin and he and I spent a few hours going over the plan for the upgrades . He took his time and brought to my attention things that I had not even thought about. I explained to him that my focus was to get the property upgraded and sold. Kevin was quick to get me a detailed list of projected cost and work that needed to be done. He followed up with me a day or 2 later by phone and began the project a week later. Kevin kept in contact with me on a very regular basis to keep me informed about the progress and answer any of my questions. The project was complete and ready for sale within the projected time. Kevin sent me many photos and the end result was beautiful! The finished product spoke for itself and it sold quickly. Kevin and his KMK team made this project easy for me. I have a few more projects in the works that I have spoken to Kevin about and I am looking forward to working with Kevin and the KMK team again soon.

    Repairs from fallen tree

    KMK Construction did the repairs on my garage after the neighbors tree fell onto it. Kevin was 1 or two contractors I interviewed for the repair job and he was so thorough in his inspection and so detailed in his estimate there was never a choice about who I was going to use. He completed the job in less than the time estimated so I decided to have him do some extra work that I have been wanting to have done. His crew was worked very clean and did a great job. I have recommend KMK Construction to a couple clients and would feel good recommending him to anyone.

    We had water damage. There was floors, walls and moving of furniture involved. Kevin and his team did a wonderful job and they completed all the work in a timely manner. The quality of the work was excellent and everything looks good as new. I will be using Kevin and his team again on any future needs.

    KMK Contracting did repair work on my garage after the neighbors tree fell into it. The repairs were done exactly the way I asked them to be done and they were completed in a very timely manner. Since I had Kevin and his crew at my house, I decided to take the opportunity to have some additional work completed. I have since recommended Kevin to a couple of my clients. I certainly will call KMK if I need any more work done.
