I had a terrible time with this contractor on my home improvement project. Kevin, the owner, continuously provides timelines that are not met, has the bare minimum of people working on the job day in and day out, and he hardly knew what was going on at the job site when I would speak with him. I would ask when certain parts of the house would be done just to hear "that is already complete" when the job was far from done. I do not recommend KMP Construction to any person or company looking for a General Contractor or Construction services. If you do decide to use KMP Construction or Kevin Penney as your contractor, I suggest making sure your contract clearly states the scope of work in detail and a timeline of when the job is to be done. I would also suggest having a clause in the contract that clearly says you have the right to terminate the contract if the scope of work is not completed by the timeline agreed to. If not, you may be waiting months for a job that should be done in a few weeks with other contractors.
