My husband and I met with Ben and several other contractors prior to deciding on KNA Construction & Painting. We felt very comfortable with the delivery of his proposal for the total renovation of our downstairs bathroom. Once the work started; Ben was constantly available for questions and daily updates. He was very professional and provided excellent advice on materials and selection of vendors. Any concerns by us were always received well and quickly rectified. Although our project may be considered small; it was given great attention and the detailed work was wonderful. We love our beautiful bathroom and our family and friends are amazed at how great it looks! We are thankful that we chose KNA Construction and Painting and will recommend them for anyone looking for quality and satisfaction. Mahalo to Ben & his crew!

This is a long story but I will try to be brief. The job never happened. We went through the process of signing a contract for the job and I gave him a deposit of $2750.50 for the first half of the entire bill. A few days before our agreed start date, he said that he was still working on a job and had to cancel mine so he sent me a check for $2100. When I asked him if we could reschedule instead of canceling the job, he agreed. He gave me another date and when I said it was ok for him to come in on January 8, he said that he would need another deposit and it would take 2 weeks before he could schedule my job. So basically it was going to be the start of the entire process again. At this point, I felt like I couldn't trust his word and he was making this whole process very confusing for my husband and myself. Since I was not able to get this job done and would need to start all over again by getting estimates would you still help me by recommending contractors? This was very disappointing.
