Kodiak did a great job. On time and on budget. Would definitely use Colin again for another major construction project.

Main thought to public of this jerk and his so-called general contracting company: STAY AWAY AND AVOID AT ALL COSTS
· Not trustworthy
· Unresponsive
· Not organized
· Did not keep the job site secure which led to several thefts, including a furnace that was cut out
· Did not keep the job site clean
· Did not pay several of his sub-contractors - one of which force a Mechanic's Lien on my property
Howe/Kodiak was not organized from the get-go (in November 2015). The demolition of the property was handled promptly, but that's about all that was performed professionally. South San Francisco Building Department and Kodiak had what seemed like an always contentious relationship. Kodiak would show up for two or so days and then not show up for upward of two weeks. Howe promised his best framers, but he sub-contracted the framing, plumbing, and concrete work to another general contractor which performed sub-par work. Howe/Kodiak then developed a contentious relationship with this sub-contractor, did not pay this general contractor - which he sub-contracted - for over six months, and they in-turn served a Mechanic's Lien on my property. Kodiak did not pay a roofing contractor for several months leading them to contact me directly - I ended up paying the roofing contractor directly. Kodiak promised a Close-In Inspection in January 2017, which never occurred, because he was unable to secure a plumbing contractor.
In closing, Howe/Kodiak should be listed under: THIEVES.
