    Build a deck

    I wish I could give ZERO stars! Mark and Kopasetic Decks left us with an unfinished deck that began to rot soon after it was built! It was a total and complete hack job! I have pictures of the horrific mess we ended up and I will figure out how to post them somewhere because I don’t want anyone to ever have to go through what we did! We paid a lot of money for our deck to be built and what we got was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! I would NOT recommend Kopasetic Decks!

    remake deck

    Mark has built 2 decks for us. The first went fine. This time in our new house it was a huge deck rebuild. He quoted us and said it was a 2 day job, delayed the start a number of times, but finally finished 2 weeks after he finally began. We appreciated his passion for decks and were patient. But there were some issues after the fact. He came back, was supposed to work on it, looked at it, said he would have to return. He gave us several return dates, all times not showing up. Now for the last 2 months he won't return our calls or texts. Looks like a lawsuit will be in the works--he shouldn't have screwed with an attorney.

    Never came back to finish job. Foundation cracked when breaking up concrete porch to build deck. Water issues in basement.

    We had a deck built in 2013. He took 6 months to complete it after he told us it would take 2-3 weeks. He would leave for weeks at a time and not return our phone calls. He brought untrained helpers several times-the work is subpar. We found several places where the trim is not completely nailed down and one stairway is warped causing the trim in that area to pull apart. We need this deck repaired. He will not come out to fix his poor work!!
