Rip off Goes by Select Security, they are going around telling elderly consumers that have contracts with other security companies that they are there to replace their security panels, that the panels are out dated. They do not state they are a different company and that they will be signing a new contract with Select Security not with their existing security company. Then the consumer is locked into their agreement and a cancellation fee and a fee for cancelling the contract before it is up. They pose as the existing security company, replace the equipment and you are stuck with your company you have the real agreement with and now this new agreement wtih new company there are many complaints filed with the BBB.
