I am Krickett Pond (Master Plumber & Owner of Ponds Plumbing & Heating) noted in the above unfortunately false review by Sasha A. I have been in buisness for many years and hold a reputation that speaks for it self with each and every customer. I give every customer 110%. In a time where the internet is a powerful tool for small buisness I do not even have a website bc I have a word of mouth buisness with very small room for new customers. I am careful who I work for bc what is never noted on these reviews is that “YES THERE ARE A GOOD AMOUNT OF DISHONEST CONTRACTORS HOWEVER FOR EVERY ONE DISHONEST CONTRACTOR I CAN GIVE YOU TEN DISHONEST HOMEOWNERS OR IN THE CASE INVESTORS WHO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF HONEST PEOPLE”. My email is [email protected] please feel free to contact me I will meet with you and price your project if needed you can contact referrals after we meet. I trust you will understand the above review is false and misleading. I have completed a large number of project throughout Boston to Provincetown Ma for customers. The gentleman above was an investor I didn’t want to work for but the GC Ensured I was working for him. (THUR 11/8) I had to travel to Weston Ma to receive my deposit, the GC suggested I take half of the agreed upon depost and I would receive the other half once the basement bathroom was completed *pay attention that’s where the game started. At this time I reiterated that YES I was paralyzed for 4 months at Spaulding hospital however have regained some strength and movement due to financial reasons having to work I am willing to take on a project! “I DONT CARE YOUR REPUTATION SPEAKS FOR ITSELF AND HOW YOU COMPLETE AS LONG AS YOU DO” ! It’s true I never visited the house / project it’s Plumbing! BASED ON WHAT YOU STATED YOU NEEDED AND I OUTLINED AND PRICED IN MY ESTIMATE YOU LIE OR PLAY AROUND ITS YOUR FAULT NOT MINE BC YOU SUFFER PAYING FOR ADD ONS & DELAYS No exceptions! The GC agreed & stated that the basement bathroom area was already completely exposed with concrete and dirt removed exposing building drain and bathroom piping ready for me to begin! (FRIDAY Nov 9)I visited the job site to bring tools and get set up! After I arriving I noted the 10” of concert was still in place and the building drain was not exposed. I worked till almost midnight from a walker removing concrete and dirt exposing the building drain. (SAT 11/10) I arrived at 12 noon to find the site guys covered this area up! I called the site guy who stated he needed that area to stay to allow his guys to remove buskets of dirt? I was then informed for the first time that they planned to remove 2-3’ of dirt! Indicated they would need an ejection pump system for the basement bathroom! Site foreman stated he was involved in conversations with the owner and GC about the ejection pump system over the past month and they knew this from plumbers pricing the job and the owner didn’t want to pay so he believed that BC of my current medical and financial situation they would test my kindness in hopes I would just do it for the traditional plumbing price I was under the impression was needed! I told the GC this was not covered in my estimate and was a T&M (Time and material) project Master and Journeyman Plumbers at $175 hr, Apprentices $75 hr rate plus cost of pump system. (SUNDAY 11/11) I received a call requesting to winterize the home I informed the GC this was half a day of time and labor it’s an extra and I would need to stay late to finish and its an additional charge under T&M he said “No Problem do it”! “PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING REVIEW FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION”! The building water meter was rotted and leaking I contacted GC and Informed him I needed to replace both tail pieces to the water meter and it T&M! AGAIN “ Just do it and bill use later he said he needed the basement bathroom done so he could frame and get his check! (MON 11/12 Veteran Day) I brought in two additional apprentice Set up lasers and dug the additional areas which was a challenge due to large rocks and removal. Installed roughly 12” of washed 3/4” stone per manufacture suggestions installed ejection pump, leveled and ensure 1/2” above grade utilizing grade lasers of new slab floor per print site guy supplied. Stabilized new ejection pump with 3/4” washed stones per manufacture suggestions and experience. This ensures the pump does not float up through slab (BELIEVE ME IT HAPPENS EXPERIENCE IS IMPORTANT)I demoed 60’ of 4” extra heavy Cast Iron build drain which was clearly rotted, cracked and leaking at every hub removed and broken into small pieces and removed from building! Installed 3/8” side Sammy’s for hanging the new 4” building drain! (MON 11/19) INSPECTED AND PASSED ONE WK FROM DATE OF DEPOSIT I AM AT THE LIBERTY OF BOSTON INSPECTORS SCHEDULE. A MASTER PLUMBER CAN LEGALLY HIRE AS MANY JOURNEYMAN AS NEEDED!. SASHA TOLD ME I WAS GET’G OTHER HALF OF THE DEPOSIT HE FIRED ME AND TOLD ME I COULD NOT TAKE MY TOOLS UNTIL I RETURN HIS DEP

Plumbing for a 3 family building

DO NOT USE - HE WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY.

Krickett the owner of Ponds Plumbing & Heating and was hired to do a plumbing project at 712 E6th South Boston MA for a quote equaling $42,500. We had provided Krickett at $10K deposit to begin the project. Krickett was asked to come look at the job but he preferred to provide the quote sight unseen with drawings as the source of the work required. Krickett stated he had 4 people who would be on the project. Upon the start of the project, it became very clear that there is no staff of 4 people causing us delays with the project. Something which should have taken 5 days to do had been going on for almost 3 weeks. Krickett also did not disclose that he was physically unable to perform his work, misleading us with timelines and deliverables upon the start of the project. It became very clear that there were going to be challenges with him completing the project in a timely manner when Krickett started to demand more payments which was unacceptable because the basic deliverables had not yet been met on the project which were to delivery the master drains and to be done with the basement.
