L. B. General Construction and its owner Louis Bujaj provided extensive services to us in order to merge two 1 bedroom units into a 3 bedroom unit in a Coop on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. This was an extensive renovation effort that involved a complete demolition combined with a full reconfiguration of the floor plan including the kitchen and all the bathrooms. Without question, L. B. General Construction provided extremely high quality service in helping us to contruct a beautiful apartment. We would highly recommend the company to anyone undergoing such a renovation. Key points to highlight include... 1. Detail oriented. Louis takes a proactive approach to fully understand the project and all the details required to complete the effort correctly. By being proactive, the effort is completed efficiently and according to plan. Also, being so detail oriented allows the estimate to be more accurate. 2. Takes pride in quality. Louis clearly takes pride in his work. He puts the best foot forward at all times and it is evident in the finished product. L. B. does not take shortcuts. 3. Fair from start to finish. When you combine a detailed oriented approach with pride in one's work, you get a contractor who is honest and fair. Considering the stress of these types of projects, feeling that you are being treated fairly is very important to put your mind at ease. Overall, we were very happy with Louis's effort and efficiency. The project was completed both on time and with high quality. We highly recommend L. B. General Construction for anyone undergoing a household renovation effort.
