Best reliable and honest contractor in Los Angeles by far. The technician was very experienced and knew what he was doing. He fixed my unit in ten minutes but the two other company's told me that I needed to replace it because it is already ten years old.

Our air conditioning broke down the evening starting a holiday weekend. We called American Home Shield and, after a long wait, got an agent who tried to help us but said vendors were not answering their phones and try again the next day, which we did. We got an agent and told her we were in our mid-70's and might have problems with the heat. She found L A Standard HVAC INC who had a 24/7 policy and would come out that same day, which they did. There were two technicians and they analyzed the problem to be a broken fan motor. They tried to get a replacement but their local suppliers were closed for the holiday so they drove to another county (!) to get the part and fixed the air conditioner THAT NIGHT. They also took the time to add coolant and test the unit to ensure it was good. This kind of service is off the charts for excellence.
