We hired Larry to build an RV garage and Casita. He never provided a written contract, but we foolishly proceeded with him. It took 6 months to get the plans done and approved by the city. He took 6 months to complete the project. He completed most of the job. He did the dry wall finishing himself and the seams show and the texture coat is uneven. The finish work is mediocre. He failed to run a line for the swamp cooler, so it now runs across the wall in the garage. We ended up having to purchase most of the items to finish the job, such as a water heater, sinks, faucets, cabinets, toilet, door knobs and soft water system. He worked generally about 3 hours 4 days a week or some weeks, not at all. We never knew what was planned and when things would be completed. If you hire him, I strongly advise to have a contract with him which includes projected finish dates and specific pay points at the completion of various levels. At the end of the project he tried to get us to pay the sub contractors, we had already paid him for their work. It was a struggle to get the project completed. He walked from the job without the final inspection, now we are having to pay others to complete the items which did not pass. I don't recommend him!
