By Kevin S.July 21, 2025Electrical (ceiling fan installation)$350
Labrie Electric visited our home in Lincoln on two occasions, first to install a new wall outlet for my at-home office, and now to install three new ceiling fans. His work is impeccable, and he is great to work with. We highly recommend LaBrie Electric. Thanks, Kevin and Debbie

By Nick S.June 22, 2022Replace Electrical Panel and Main Breaker bar$1,000
First Impression was, "this guy really knows his stuff". He didn't try and pitch me with the expensive fix to my electrical issues, but he did them right and was 100% fair in pricing. Willie is the type of Electrician you hope to meet when you need him most, and i wish i would have run into him sooner. I'm an advocate for Labrie Electric, in particular after my 3rd scheduled job with him! The dude is a straight pimp. BTW - he didn't ask for this review to be posted, but after the quality work we received from him, i felt it was appropriate that others know that they're missing by not using him!!

By Lori H.July 17, 2021ceiling fans and can lights
I had called Brian for a qoute on installing four ceiling fans . He was able to book me the next week. He had to cut the holes in the ceiling and hard wire. He did an excellent job very thorough and clean worker. Since he had done a great job I also had him replace my cam lighting for more energy efficient 11 of them and 2 vanity lights the at same day. I highly recommend this electrician.

By David B.March 2, 2021Install a EV charger
I needed an 220 outlet installed in my garage for an EV Auto charger. Since I did not have a 220 outlet close to my garage they had to install the electrical wire from the far side of my house to the garage. The electrician they sent was Brian and another person who had no problem with the installation. If you have an electrical vehicle or thinking of buying one think of Labrie Electric for the electric charger installation. David B.

By Andrew S.January 12, 2021Auxiliary panel for generator
Five Stars! Can't recommend Labrie Electric highly enough. When it was time to deal with the unpleasant need for an auxiliary panel for the back up generator Willie really came through with problem solving and install. Very reasonable rates, great service, quick and excellent work, what more could you ask for?. I will definitely being using their service in the future.

By S. W.June 24, 2020Replace old electrical panel
I highly recommend La Brie Electric without reservation. Willie was wonderful. He was always on time, had great communication, was an expert, as well as reasonable. He replaced our complicated 50 year old electrical panel without a hitch, taking care of the permits, and did all the necessary communication with my electric utility here in Sacramento. Thank you, Willie for a job well done!

By Howard B.June 12, 2020kitchen lighting$800
Labrie Electric just upgraded my kitchen lighting by taking out an outdated light box and installing can lights. Brian was very professional and courteous. He completed the project on time and was very thorough in cleaning up afterwards. We couldn't be more thrilled! We would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing an electrician at their home - they are reasonable and do excellent work! Howard and Kathy Brown

By Geprge C.November 2, 2018electrical problems in our home
Mr. Labrie resolved multiple electrical issues in our home this week. He came to our house in a timely manner. He is knowledgeable, efficient, hard working, and friendly. This is the second time he has come to our house for electrical failures this year. We were very happy with his work both times. George and Barbara Coelho

Roger, president, threatened to rape my granddaughter if we called police, FBI, attorney, CSLB contractor CA STATE license board, traci Baker,
Our experience (we recently bought a house in Lafayette):
1) We paid $120/hour each for two workers. One was decent, the other was clearly in training (both were young men). In my opinion, we were overcharged. Have since hired other local handymen at $75 an hour with higher skill sets and who worked faster.
2) One of my issues was electrical; after several hours of both workers trying to figure it out (taking apart the electrical boxes, one exterior one which was left torn apart) Dennis told me to hire an electrician. I did, 15 minutes and $60 later the electrician fixed the problem (two GFRs were tripped).
3) One issue was a drip in my shower. Dennis told me they would have to drill through the tile to fix it. Thankfully, this is one of the items they did not get to (after spending 2.5 days and $3700 on my job, they did not finish my list of about 10 items). A plumber just left, after 20 minutes he had the shower drip fixed, and no, it did not involve a drill.
4) Lastly: I had the workers replace 5 fans, three of which had LED lights. Last week I decided to add light kits to the remaining fans. I asked my new contractor (who has built 35 houses so I know he's capable) to do this. He opened up the fan switch that these guys had installed. The wires had been left exposed (he showed me) -- both a hot and a ground wire touched and all my lights went out. Contractor says it was a fire risk. I now have to hire an electrician to check all of the Lamorinda Home Repair electrical work. I feel Dennis should have told me to hire an electrician before they took on this task.
I hope this helps you when deciding who to use for what jobs, and how much to pay for it. There were some things I think they did just fine, but in retrospect I feel I was overcharged.
