    Plumbing Repair

    We're assigned them though my home warranty service. They were given my information at the beginning of the week with a follow up that I should be contacted within 24 hours to get my appointment set up. I was never contacted and I had to call them to even schedule the appointment 4-5 days later. I scheduled it for the next week between 8am-12pm. I took off work for the appointment. I was waiting that day and when I hadn't heard from anyone by 1pm, I called them to try and get an update on the status and I was told that they would contact me back after they talked to the plumber. I never did hear anything back over the next few hours. I contacted them about once every hour-hour and a half to follow up on it but it always went to voicemail with me having to leave a voicemail each time. Eventually got a text about 15 minutes before their office was closed saying that they were just now able to get a hold of the plumber and he wasn't going to be able to make it today (which confuses me because my window was 8am-12pm so did they just decide to skip mine or did they not complete any appointments that afternoon). They offered another option to reschedule, which I requested for this afternoon so I wouldn't have to ask off for another day from work. They agreed to that with a window between 12pm-4pm. I rushed home after work this AM to get home and then nobody ever came. I contacted them around 4:15 to ask if anybody was going to come, and I was told again that they would have to contact the plumber and get back to me. I never did hear back from them before they closed. I attempted to call them back around 4:45 before they closed to try and get some type of response but I got a voicemail again. I left another voicemail and never did hear back.

    So for a summary:

    I had to initiate all contact with them (initial scheduling well after the given 24 hour window, to follow up on where my plumber was for the first appointment, and to follow up on where my plumber was the 2nd appointment) with them never even attempting to contact me to let me know if there is a delay or that they wouldn't be able to make it without me consistently asking for updates.

    I would give them 0 stars if I could. If you want to use a plumbing company that keeps you in the dark regarding the status of your appointment as well that is unreliable, this is the perfect company to use. Otherwise, I would avoid at all cost

    Update: Cody called me and was upset regarding the review. Provided excuses for why they weren't able to make the appointment but not why they weren't able to contact me at any point until I left a bad review. He then implied that it's what I get with a home warranty but their business is the one that agreed to partner with them. Incompetent business

    The following is my heartfelt opinion after working with many great plumbers over three decades: This is the worst plumbing contractor by far that I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I recommend trying anyone else because they delayed my water heater repair over two weeks. The first person they sent told me he had never repaired the type of water heater I had, even after the owner of the company told me they would be prepared to work on it. After another lengthy delay with no repair, the second technician said he would recommend replacing the unit. While the warranty company stated the company needed to provide the diagnoses within 48 hours, each time they were late - the second time taking around six days for the diagnosis only after I repeatedly called the warranty company. The diagnosis stated the unit was working fine even though I noted I had reset it to the technician. So, I am paying another service fee so that the previous plumber (who I believe is highly expert) can hopefully fix the water heater that continues to malfunction the same way it has for almost three weeks now. I copied the following from the Texas Secretary of State website, so I don't know what is going on with this company:
