    asphalt over gravel driveway
    $4,000
    1 day

Fly-by low-quality work. They were paving a driveway next door and came over to my place and said they would do the work at 50% since their equipment and materials were right there. Big mistake. They laid the asphalt down. It has already started to crumble (starting 2 weeks post) and no one will return my call. I don't expect that they will. I am in Asheville, NC so perhaps they flew in and started doing hit jobs on the fly. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS. You get much much less than you paid for.

    Partial driveway paving
    $4,000

I wish there was an option to give them zero stars... This fly-by-night operation is nothing more than a scam. Big shiny trucks, beat up equipment, shoddy work...

They showed up on a "cold-call" in late May of 2015. They told us they would lay down 4 inches of material (never told us that that was the depth of the unrolled, uncompacted material), did absolutely no prep work, and charged us full price for a half-assed job. When it started cracking that September (the same year, mind you), I called them. "Just put a good coat of sealer on it, and that'll take care of it," they said. So, we did. By April, what was initially a couple of small patches of mild cracking was several wide, long patches of crumbling asphalt. When I called again, they said, "The asphalt plant doesn't open til May, so give us a call back then and we'll get you taken care of." Ok, fair enough. So, when I called in May, the guy (the owner) said "I'm workin outta the area right now, but soon as we get back in your area we'll take care of it." A month later, I called again. In June. No response. I called a second time in June. No response. I called again in July, and this time I actually got a live person (the owner again) who told me, "I'm on the road, lemme call you back later tonight." A week later, I still hadn't heard anything from him. When I called again, it was a bad reception area. Then he was in the middle of a job. Finally, in AUGUST of 2016, I got ahold of him again and he told me, "yep, we'll be there Thursday." Thursday it poured rain. Ok, that's out of his control. Happened again on Friday. He called Saturday and said, "We'll be there Monday afternoon." Monday afternoon came and went, and when I called at 4pm, he said: "my guys are just finishing up a job in (a nearby town) and then they'll be right up." He pulled into my driveway around 5:30 and said, "Hey, I need the exact address to send to my guys, they're just wrapping up in (that nearby town) and they'll be right up." At 7:30, well past dusk, I called and left a message that said, "It's 7:30, basically dark outside, and nobody's been here... thought you should know." At 8:30pm, the trucks arrived... by the time they unloaded the equipment it was 9pm. I told them, "Guys, it's dark... we have two households with small children that are going to bed... can't we do this in the morning?" They called the owner who basically said, "it's now or never". So, then I called him. We argued about how long it had taken him to get his guys "in our area", about how I'd been trying to get this repair, that was part of their guarantee IN WRITING, done for a year, and the call culminated with him telling me, "I don't care how pissed off you are. I'm telling my guys to pack up and go home." Real professional outfit, hmm?

    Driveway paving
    $8,000
    1 day

Talked a good story but delivered poorly. Contract states 2 to 2 1/2 inches of COMPACTED asphalt but ended up being approximately an inch thick. Now the bottom of the driveway is cracked and falling apart. As the other reviews state, they refuse to return E-mails and when you call, they state they'll come check it out but never did. Have tried to resolve this problem since July of 2015 with over 20 phone calls and e-mails. Complained to both the Better Business Bureau and the Pennsylvania Attorney General, both of whom were unable to accomplish anything with them. Taking them to small claims court now but would strongly suggest you get your paving done by a LOCAL company and not this one.

    Over Charged and Under Delivered

Horrible, they extended my driveway but did not use any base material or the correct top coat. My driveway now has multiole pot holes and they refuse to return calls or come out and correct their mistakes. My recommendation would be to stay away!

Squaring off existing asphalt parking lot
    $3,000
    1 day
    Scam Artists

These people are SCAM ARTISTS! We asked them to square off our existing asphalt parking area. INSTEAD - they created a ridiculous rectangular landing strip randomly sprouting off our existing parking area leaving the area that people actually park at (where there are clearly displayed parking curbs) gravel. They left gaps where it was supposed to meet with the existing asphalt as well as finishing it uneven. They blamed us for poor communication, however last time I checked, "squaring off" didn't mean creating a long landing strip to the middle of no-where. Awful customer service, then they wanted us to pay them to fix what they had done. Costing us 100% more of what we already paid them. Almost purposely doing an awful job that we couldn't leave the way it was. Do not use these unprofessional scam artists for your next project.
