We only wanted new construction when we did our search for our relocation from another state. After looking at other builders product, we discovered Langbeen Construction and were immediately impressed with their craftsmanship. We met with the team once in person and then had to continue through the process remotely right up to and including the final walk-through. We requested special upgrades and items to be installed and they were very accommodating. The staff were extremely helpful even after closing with a small item that they fixed immediately. I would recommend them to my friends and family if any of them were to move to this area.

Currently in the process of building my 2nd home build. Comparing the experience to my first, I couldn’t be more pleased thus far. My experience with Langbeen has been completely positive and I look forward to the finished product.

Ok first things first, I am a real estate broker and I represent Langbeen Builders. I contracted with Scott to build my lake front home. Some might say it was an obvious decision however I would not commit to living in my forever home if not for knowing him, the quality of his work and all the positive feedback from the owners of his homes. Much like he was able to separate our professional relationship while building my home I am doing the same as a client.
I thought I knew most everything about the process and boy did I get schooled. There is the obvious and then the countless details I did not expect. The detailed choices we would need to make that would impact us for years it was reassuring to have Scott and Luke the whole way. They gave me excellent advice, some of those things cost a little more and some that were cost savings. I was given timelines to make decisions and whenever in doubt I could rely on the steady hand of Scott to weigh in.
The communication was excellent. I've heard this from other clients and was very impressed to have experienced it. His sub-contractors were courteous and accommodating also giving great advice. They wanted to make sure we were 100% satisfied with their work. It really came across as a personal mission and I will say Mission accomplished!
With any new home there are little tweaks here and there. Boy if I thought the service was excellent through the building process that was just the beginning. Scott was on top of things well ahead of me. Even when mentioning something in passing to Luke, before I knew it things were being communicated with the sub-contractors and appointments were being set.
I’ve heard that building a home has ruined marriages and that once you’ve done it, you’ll never want to do it again. Not so when working with the Langbeens. I mentioned we built a lake front home and due to recent events (Hurricane Florence) we lost our Dam and the lake. If not for this beautiful home I could see where we could wallow in sadness and maybe a little self-pitty. But every day I look around at the magnificent home I live in (my wife and I still pinch ourselves like giddy school kids) and am thankful for all I have and that I live in this gorgeous Langbeen built home!Hank Troscianiec

Do you want a house or a home? There is BIG difference. The Langbeen builders built my home, and I am very pleased. I have been in my home now for over a year, and know I made the right decision on choosing this builder. It is not often that one builds a home sight unseen, this I did. Medical issues prohibited me from traveling from by residence in Florida to BSL. To enjoy life to a greater extend is to make sure you purchase a home from a builder that uses the best ingredients, they must include: wholeness, kndness, empathy, altruism, compassion, and of course, a WOW reputation as a builder. Signed, Grateful.

Scott built our home in Boiling Spring Lakes. We lived in New Jersey. We saw out home when it was up and closed in and were not able to come down to see the progress until it was finished. We were in awe. Our home was finished to perfection. Scott kept us updated as to what had been completed weekly. The materials were top notch and workmanship is something to be proud of. Scott is a man of his word. If he says something will be done in a certain time frame you can bet that it will be done as promised. We were happy that we picked Langbeen Builders to build our home. Thank you Scott.

Permits
- Building permit records show that Langbeen Builders Inc has worked on 9 permitted projects.
1. Multiple unauthorized changes to plans and contract.
2. Many no calls/no shows.
3. Completely ignoring repairs and reports.
4. Without my knowledge Luke went to my neighbor requesting access to my house.
5. Continuing to be ignored, I went to the office to ask what was going on with all this, Luke proceeded to tell me there was nothing they were going to do for me and the reason for that was being disabled. (100% Disabled Veteran).
6. Their lawyer contacted me with a $5,000 offer to sign a nondisclosure agreement, which I turned down.
Edit: My review is based on my own experience only. This is also not the first time these things and countless others has been brought to Langbeen Builders attention. I have spent thousands on repairs, materials and reports even downright begging for issues to be fixed. Just to fix my foundation/crawlspace is going to be $51,211.50 and that’s the lower estimate. If I am wrong please advise me as to what so I may either provide proof or issue a public apology. I can even show medical evidence on the tole mold has taken on my physical and mental health. Again, I’d be happy to renounce and apologize. I do know other people have had good experiences which other than telling me things won’t be repaired because of my disabilities leads me to believe this is personal for whatever reason.
