in late 2009 I had a Gerrard Metal Roof installed by LaPlant metal roofing. Right from the start I had problems with the owner Craid LaPlant. During the installation of my new roof, LaPlant attempted to substitute an inferior underlayment for the Grace Ice and Water underlayment specified in my written contract. I insisted that he remove the sub quality material and replace it with the Grace material that was specified in the contract. LaPlant got angry and started calling me profane names. The job was eventually completed but with many defects due to improper instalation. I have had leaks along the back side of my home, arround the chimney and a severe leak on the north side which has ruined my living room ceiling. I contacted LaPlant several times to remedy the situation, and even after LaPlants people came back to fix the issues, I still have buckets in my living room collecting the water from the leaking roof and a ruined living room ceiling. Never contract with this company. If you have a problem, Craig LaPlant will give you the run-around until you just give up the way I did.

I had LaPlant roofing put a beautiful metal roof on my house a few years ago. The experience was great I received a quote very quickly and the roof was installed in less than 2 days! I was very impressed as were my neighbors who commented on the and asked who installed it, I highly recommended LaPlant metal roofing to them. I even had a note on my door asking who did my rooof and their phone number to call. I am building a cabin this summer and Crag LaPlant was the first call I made.
