I hired C & B Electric (owned by Larry Causey Inc.) to install flat screen TV's and surround sound. Total cost was just under $3,500.00 for merchandise and labor, TV brackets with 4 glass shelves, new receiver, 5 speakers inside and 2 outside, house was already pre-wired for speakers. The crew arrived on time and did a nice job.
The reason I went with C&B electric is because their salesman, Ryan, stated that C&B was very customer oriented and wanted a customer for life. Like I said, they did a nice job.
Here's my complaint and why I would never recommend them to anyone, I purchased 4 glass shelves which were mounted under the TVs to hold cable boxes. It turned out I didn't need the shelves and asked them to credit my account and take them back. Now we're talking about shelves that cost me $49.00 each, their cost was probably around $30.00 tops, so we're talking about them taking back about $90.00 worth of merchandise from a $3,500.00 job (I decided to keep one and to return three). I called them after two days after the install, answer to me, it's our "POLICY" not to take back "USED" merchandise. These shelves were never used, hung on the wall for two days! I then asked if they would at least come back and take the down, sure for their minimum of $65.00 an hour.
This is a new house and the builder used them to install the security system, which they will monitor for about $25.00 a month, I was going to have them monitor my system, a 3 year contract. I told them if they couldn't refund my purchase price for the shelves, that I would go elsewhere for the monitoring, this didn't phase them one bit. I guess they are making too much money, rather then take shelves back ($90.00 their cost) they would rather lose $25.00 a month for a minimum of 36 months, you do the math. This makes no business sense to me!
