Wow! I am thoroughly impressed with the professionalism and quality from Larry Shaver Drywall. First of all, I had contacted another local drywall contractor who had an elaborate website, but he flaked on me two times before showing up. He then quoted me $125 and said his assistant fix the wall the following morning. As far as matching texture, the contractor explained that he would provide me sand that I could add to the paint and it would look great. The next day, the contractor failed to show and I began the hunt for a new contractor.
My web search turned up Larry Shaver, who is also on Angie's List. I thought I would give him a try. Larry returned my call promptly. I told him I had a tight schedule, but he fit me at 8am on a Saturday morning. He arrived on time. He was also efficient and professional. Before Larry even began the repair, he taped down plastic tarp that fit perfectly into the closet space; thus, protecting our hardwood floors. What really blew me away is that he charged just $100 AND he matched the texture. In fact, he explained that that drywall texture is his specialty. I would hire Larry Shaver Drywall again for either a small job or big job.
