Lavender is a women owned and operated company who’s humble beginnings started in the spare bedroom of our founder Haley Tew. Haley opened the company in early 2019 with just a laptop and a small landscaping crew that is still with Lavender to this day. From these beginnings Lavender has quickly grown to a multi-million dollar design build firm that has become one of the hottest names in the valley for their innovative landscape and pool projects. Lavender HQ is a beautiful, plant filled, design studio where design, construction and support staff work together in an open concept floorplan. Centrally located in Tempe, Lavender Landscape provides an easy commute from nearly anywhere in the valley with plenty of restaurants and activities for winding down after a productive day. Lavender’s culture is one of innovation and a drive to succeed with a strong focus on continuing education and career advancement for all employees. We signed a contract October '23, added in front yard and signed the final contract December '23. Work finally started in January and we are still not finished as of June 2024. We have had to manage our own project with their workers knocking on our door asking us questions. We have become part time accountants because no one knows what is going on. We literally had to send the 4th accounting employee all of our contracts and change orders along with a spreadsheet that we have been keeping to show what we have paid and what the balance is. Since Jan 9th, we have had over 60+ days of no one showing up to do work. We purchased a firepit on their recommendation and it was to be delivered on 3/15 and we were told that we were two weeks away from having it installed and just have it put in our driveway. It is now June 19th and our firepit is still not installed. We have had the irrigation crew out over 28 times to fix issues and complete work because there is no project oversight. We are told things will be done and the only time they make any progress is when they want a check. We have reached out to Haley multiple times and she is completely disengaged and is only focused on her social media posts and getting more clients. They can't even handle the the clients the currently have. They immediately remove negative reviews from Instagram, and have employees and friends post positive comments to up their ratings. It is really a shame, because there is a lot of potential to have a thriving business, but this is a very poorly run operation and I would recommend that you look elsewhere. Don't believe the 5 star reviews as they are fake. Our lives have been completely disrupted for over 6 months and they just don't seem to have any regard for how they treat clients who are spending hundreds of thousands of dollars with them. They have multiple ROC claims against them, and when we started this project that was not the case. They are overloaded and we specifically asked if they had the time to take on our project which was completely false.
