Do yourself a favor and do not hire Lawerence Homes Inc out of Creedmoore NC. They built our $500k home and did a horrible job. Again this morning (Jan 22nd 2019) we have no water b/c they never isolated our water pipes. Janette said to leave water dripping. We have cold air returns the are just holes in the walls but don't work at all,,, years after build and air filter looks brand new. Larry the builder hires cheap contractors but was never on site to manage anything including the quality of his work. They are horrible builders, I ask multiple times for them to fix the freezing pipes. They attempted it once which was a failed attempt Weather got warmer, 1 year warranty expired but has continued to freeze every year. They refused to come back again because warranty was up. I will hire an attorney if anyone knows a good one. They attempted to fix once but failed,,, that should count for something and be held accountable for returning to fixing. There are so many things I could go on for hours....don't hire them... If anyone can offer advice or have the name of a good attorney that handles these type of issues please feel free to email me at [email protected]. Yes that is my real email,,,, that's how frustrated and desperate I am.

I regret having Lawrence Homes build our home. The number of problems that occurred as a result of poor workmanship, materials, and the builder never being on the job site and never showing up to fix problems still haunt us over two years after being in our home. To give you a “few” examples of our problems,,, in our $500K++ home: our pipes still freeze solid when the temperature drops to 30 degrees. I guess they never heard of insulating pipes if they run them on an exterior wall. We have cupping in our wood floors due to the high moister levels in our basement as a result of exterior basement walls not being water proofed to code. The flag stone in our front walk way is very cheap and falling apart after two years. You can dig a hole in the concrete in the basement with your thumbnail. During the build we had to fight with the builder for weeks to repair a shoe footprints imbedded in our concrete walkway. Two totally different stones were put on the front of our home and I was told that was my problem to work out with the contractor they hired. Poor craftsman ship can be seen throughout. Multiple times I was billed for add-ons for items that were in my original contract. Once they got my last check I never saw them again and it was painful to get them to even repair the damage their trucks did to my neighbor’s lawn. In fact the last text I received from the builder was a vulgar text after he was asked to repair their lawn. I have many more examples but thought I would just provide a few and share my experience with Lawrence Homes Inc.

Very unpleasant experience. They lack communication responsiveness and refuse to fix warranty repairs on our new construction home. This has been an ongoing issue for 10 months, started on 8/10/2022 to complete our 1 year warranty repairs. Now the owner refuses to fix the floors in my bedroom. He states that the creaking noise in my floors in 3 spots are not loud enough! Save yourself time, money and disappointment!
