Unfortunately, my experience with Laz has been most unsatisfactory. He has had to replace the same patio three times. The most recent (May 2017) already has numerous cracks. In addition, the edges are uneven and rough. The concrete color is uneven, the stamping in uneven and the 2nd color is uneven. Laz schedules appointments and never shows, nor does he call to cancel. He does not respond to vm or texts. I had to take Laz to small claims to get him to respond, and I am filing a 2nd small claims against him now, August '17.

I had Laz pour the basement floor, garages and patio of my custom home in Draper. He and his crew did an excellent job and worked very quickly. I am vey satisfied with the result, especially considering my basement floor was a large slab at 3500 sf. Laz was able to deal with changes in the project and helped us fix some issues left by the footing and foundation pour

I have had Lazaro and his crew pour concrete for me on two separate occasions and am going back to him for more business this spring (2012). I have been very satisfied with his work each time and he is good at giving suggestions on how to makes things look the best.

Laz quoted us $1200 to put up fence posts. I explained to him in detail what and where we wanted posts, he understood and got to work the next day. He asked that we go to Home Depot with him to pick up materials including the tool rentals and that would be the deposit. Once things were about done (according to him) we noticed he didn’t put in several of the posts for a dog run. He said that wasn’t a problem and would get them in. But when everything was done he tried to charge more for the dog run posts claiming bet weren’t apart of the original quote. I fought hard on this because I had Told him about the dog run. He eventually dropped this issue but tried to claim we needed to pay for all the posts. This didn’t sit right because he told us outright what the job would be, he had us pick up materials with him and said it was the deposit. Laz continued to pressure my husband on the additional costs when I wasn’t around and my husband eventually caved, but not because he agreed with Laz-because of the pressure of Laz and his crew following him to the bank to have him pull out the additional fees.
Also, the concrete was not mixed correctly. Water was poured into the hole and concrete powder was mixed to it. This often causes poor mixture that has pockets of unmixed powder, thus making the concrete less strong. I was surprised by this, as the company is primarily a concrete company. I would expect them to know better. After this job I learned from the person who referred him that although laz’s Work looked good he also tried to charge the person for part of the materials (paint on a painting job) after it was done, with no mention that it wasn’t included in the materials he listed before. The same thing he did with our job.
