Lazarus Construction

This man was hired to pour 2 concrete slabs for a patio and shop extension. We had hired him 5 years previous to pour a 10 x 20 patio slab which turned out fine.
After the shop slab was poured, we found that he did not follow the normal procedure of anchoring wall studs into the wet concrete, which he had to come back and complete. Having to drill into dry concrete, the studs are not straight.
As far as the patio in the front of the house, when the cement was being poured, no type of barrier was placed on the siding of the house, which is painted Hardi Board, and so the cement splattered all over the house, windows and storm door. We had to wait for the slab to dry to get to the splatters, and by then they were hard. He tried a few different products to get the cement off, but nothing worked. He eventually ended up scrubbing some of the paint off, so we said enough. He has agreed to buy us new siding for that area.

This man was hired to do a complete bathroom remodel.
He did the most slipshod renovation I’ve ever seen. He needed supervision through the entire job. Didn’t bring his own tools. But did bring his 3 yr old daughter. Didn’t buy the needed supplies for the job. Used the incorrect supply’s when he did. Used painters caulk rather than silicone in the tub. Everything he did had to be redone when he walked off the job. Put a tub from a camper in before I was forced to go buy another tub. He was given 2,500$ down payment for all supply’s he would need and I still had to go buy the correct ones. I do not recommend this contractor under any circumstances. He’s a crook.
