    bathroom design and remodel
    $40,000

    $40k out of pocket only to suffer for a year while LDL worked this "2 week" bathroom remodel job that they never completed and no permits ever got final sign off on. Also, MATT BAILEY DID NOT PAY LDL'S SUBCONTRACTORS ACTUALLY DOING THE WORK THAT LDL WAS ALREADY PAID FOR. That includes the electrician whom sued as a result of Matt Bailey, the owner of this and several other small "businesses", for non-payment and breach of contract despite the evidence left when I wrote them checks for over $30K that Matt cashed within 24 hours. The electrician sued LDL/Matt Bailey and I both because Matt told all of his subcontractors he was not being paid. So I had to spend $8k on a lawyer! The lawsuit claim against me was denied by the judge because LDL & Matt Bailey were paid; I was in no way legally responsible as Matt and the electrician both intended because I paid way too much for a long job that never got completed and per the city board I will have to pay other contractors to redo. And, I still have the texts to prove it all too. Buildzoom should be ashamed to list this man as anything but a conman!
