Took $10,000 - $20,000 insurance payments from my elderly mother who has now passed away and won't finish the job. Won't answer their phones won't return our calls. Nothing. Lied to us about who really owns the business.
The 5 star review below was posted by one of the family owners... posted by Matt Brooks...
Had an inspection done and was told they didn't even finish the roof, and what they did do wasn't correct. Also told they were not supposed to use untreated wood, they didn't even replace the trusses and left most of the water damaged wood just to add less material . This has been ongoing a full year now and they still won't finish the job or at least give us the money back so we can hire someone else to do the job! They wrote down on their report to the insurance company that they "completed" everything. As you can see this is only the outside. I have tons of inside pictures where they left molded carpet under the hot water heater, ruined paneling they never replaced, and never replaced the light fixtures that also had water damage but yet claimed to the insurance company they did. Then when I show the insurance company the pictures Legacy claims they didn't get paid. All the insurance company has to do is trace those checks back to see YES they got paid over $17,000.
