    Several remodeling projects
    $1,500

    Lehmann homes has completed several home remodeling projects for me over the last few years. Each project was delivered on time and under budget. I’ve been very pleased with the work and would highly recommend them for any home projects or new construction.

    We bought a 2 year old home that was built by Lehmann homes. We have now been in the home for 4 years. We though a newer home we wouldn’t have many issues because the home was almost new! We were wrong! We have many issues with the home that the builder will not address because his warranty was only 1 year! We thought at $450K Home wouldn’t have these issues in a nice subdivision! Our problems with the home are as follows:

    1. Deck was falling away from house because ZERO concrete was used in support posts for deck. Deck had to be replaced Deck boards were put down with nails instead of screws. All nails popped up after our first winter in the house. Cheap!

    2. We have drywall screw pops all over the entire house not just in walls but in ceilings as well. We painted bedrooms with eggshell finish and you can see almost every single drywall screw on each wall. Horrible Cheap drywall contractor!

    3. We have electrical issues, 220v dryer plug installed upside down. Zero open fuses in electrical box open to be used if we wanted to finish other room in basement. Basement circuit blew all the time until we changed bulbs to LED.

    4. All of the outside water spigots leak and need replacement. Plumber hired used worst quality spigot on the market. I took apart one and spent $30 on new seals and washer I had to special order, and it now leaks from a different place.

    5. Windows must be installed wrong or they are just cheap. My old home you could not hear someone talking outside at all! These windows so bad you can hear all of conversation of someone outside clear as can be! A few windows already have broken seals with condensation between glass panes - all at 6-7 years old.

    6. Plumbing drain runs and master bath that borders great room should have had sound insulation in walls before were all enclosed. We sit in great room and can hear all drain water from upstairs bathroom drain down thru the pipes as we try to talk or watch TV! Master toilet area also borders great room and you can hear every sound from that toilet room in the great room! It’s horrible paper thin drywall.

    7. Floors not screwed in tight and can hear squeaking floors in every room in the house!

    8. Generally horrible construction! Walls not square in master bath and other parts of home. Whomever framed house didn’t use a builders square! Walls not at 90 degrees, doors not square and plumb. Nails popping up all the time in oak stair treads.
