DO NOT HIRE THIS DISHONEST AND UNPROFESSIONAL MAN. Josiah Leisher is a manipulative and dishonest thief. He claims to have performed services that he has not provided, continually changes his price estimates, promises to show up but does not and then refuses to give you a time for when he will complete the work that you have already paid for.
I foolishly gave him $600 as a down payment for a fairly large job in my backyard. When he told me it would cost about $12,000 and sent me a line drawing of my backyard that does not include any plant placing, plant names, or ideas for restructuring the landscape, as I had asked for. I said that I did not have $12,000 and wanted to use the $600 for a smaller job in the front of the house. He told me then that he would do that but also charge me $45 for the useless drawing which seemed somewhat fair. But he later changed his price and told me he would charge me nearly $350 for this drawing and a hand-drawn sketch of the front garden, which obviously did not take him six hours to complete, as he claimed.
In addition, he continually delayed doing the work. He'd say he would start "next week," and then failed to show up. I'd track him down and he would say he would get to it, but never did. Finally, more than two months after he cashed my check, he told me that he could not tell me when he would do the work!!! I finally lost patience and asked for all my money back.
He told me in writing hat he would return all my money, in two separate emails. He also wrote "you are garbage" and some other unpleasant and unprofessional things. To this day he has failed to return my deposit to me. I will have to sue him in small claims court.
I know it was stupid to give him money up front, and I have learned my lesson. Protect yourself and use someone else.

Josiah promised me a beautiful garden. He rushed into planting mid winter and half of the plantings including trees never grew a leaf. It was all dead in the spring. When I complained he disappeared. I finally caught up with him.He claimed that I didn't pay an extra fee to guarantee that if the planting was not alive in the spring he would replace the dead planting..What a Joke.
I would not recommend this person.He is not an Honest or Honorable person.
