Based on MY experience, I would never recommend this contractor to other people, but so many other people have spoken highly of him. When I got two different professionals to evaluate the job he did on window pane on my French doors, they gave him a very poor evaluation in writing and signed and dated their evals. He installed a pane of the wrong thickness, and he did the installation incorrectly according to a window restoration specialist and also according to South Louisiana Glass. He acted manipulative when I asked him if he had insurance instead of saying "I'd be happy to give you proof of insurance". Thus, I gave him a very small job, and I have been very upset since then because he ruined the elegance of my French doors! All the other panes are of standard thickness which is 1/8th of an inch. He installed a pane that was only 1/16th of an inch, which means the molding is set too far back in the rabbet. He was unprofessional in his demeanor.
