    Shoddy workmanship, fails to obtain permits, theft on job.

    This contractor is a fraud. He was recommended by the real estate agent I used to purchase the house. We had a contract and he required a certain amount upfront to start. Not only did he fail to purchase the quality of materials that were specified in the contract but he failed to get permits and use licensed subs. His work was shoddy and sub-standard. Shortly after he started and I saw the poor quality of his workmanship and his failure to use the materials specified in the contract I asked him for for proof of the Building Permits and his subs licenses. At that point he walked off the job leaving it partially done. He also stole many of my personal belongings and many construction materials. When I called in inspectors it turned out his work was unsafe and it had to be completely redone. I hired licensed subs and obtained permits.

    Not only did Mosies Gomez, the Owner of Leon Construction, walk all the job with the upfront money I had given him but he refused to return it and he stole numerous things from my house. He also failed to return numerous phone calls and emails. When I learned of Construction Industries Division and told him I was going to report him he showed up with his goons and physically threatened me. It is now in the hands of my attorney.

    This is a dangerous man, he will steal from you, he will do shoddy work, and he does not use competent workman. Since that time I have found others who have had the same experience with him and also discovered that he uses illegal aliens and then doesn't pay them. Avoid this shoddy contractor at all costs.
