By M C.September 7, 2015fix major leak in house$4891 dayPlumbing
My elderly Mom needed a plumbing job done and after contacting 3 different plumbers all who said they would come out and never showed up (it was a major leak issue) Mr. Angel came from Leesville to Deridder, worked most of the day to fix the problem and was very reasonably priced. He did great work. My Mom was very pleased. Highly recommend!!!!!!

I contracted with Leon Glenn Angel to remodel a small bathroom in my home which was built in 1972. My original plan was to remodel two small bathrooms. Leon Angel provides a quote to remodel both bathrooms. The size of the bathrooms is about the same size (5X6 approximately). My experience with Leon Angel on the first bathroom convinced me he was absolutely the wrong person for the job. He spent six (6) weeks on the first bathroom and did not completely finished the project to my satisfaction. Here is a list of events that occurred:
He never showed up on time.
Some days he would not show up at all
When he did show up it would be 2:00pm
He removed all of the copper from my home
He did not install cement board to the ceiling for the shower
He replaced all of the copper with plastic/rubber tubing (He said this was the new code)
The "new " vanity I paid for was built with reclaimed wood
None of the drawers in the vanity work properly
The tile work was substandard and will require reworking
Several leaks appeared before he "finished" the job.
I had to hire another electrician to correct a faulty "new" switch and outlet
This is just a few of the problems I encountered with Leon Angel. I would not recommend him for any projects. He will lie to you and he will take all shortcuts he can and not discuss it with you. He is unprofessional and not dependable. He should not be licensed to work in this trade at all. He calls himself a contractor. He is nothing more than a "handyman with a truck".
