Read the negative reviews. We knew Dave from work and others referred us to him. We first had Dave come and discuss our plans which had to be delayed due to both a family issue for Dave as well as a delay on our end after purchasing our cabinets . When we finally began work Dave said he would have to do it between some other jobs and the remodel of his fathers home. Things started out ok but we started having longer delays while he worked elsewhere. I Went several months without a fully working kitchen which with several kids and a grandchild in the house was extremely inconvenient. We paid a large portion of job up front and paid for our products mostly direct with vendors. There is way too many issues with both his work ethic and quality experienced by us to even list here. It Seems many have the same experiences as us and it appears he has had many pay him in full only to have to resort to chasing him down to return and finish the job. Shame on us for being trusting of someone we actually worked with and paying him before he finished the job. Took about 18 months for him to return after receiving a final payment of 5k which he tried to state he didn’t even get. We had to provide cashed check copies from the bank in which he said he didn’t remember ever getting. He finally returned when we stated we would be taking him to court for work unfinished. Honestly the shoddy and beyond poor quality finished carpentry skills leaves me wishing we had simply not had him come and try to settle things up. If this allows pics after written review they will be placed with review. fact he took other new jobs ahead of ours that he was paid up for and delayed us over a year to come back was beyond RUDE, unprofessional and poor work habits. The root of the shoddy work has to be pure laziness because I do not see how someone has a contractors license and does things like place boarding over gapes between old and new drywall areas rather than fill and finish them properly!! - This seems to be a very basic task for a contractor and only one example. If a multitude of issues. . Needless to say in the end he told my husband he could finish up loose ends in a days work. I didn’t see how it would be possible given extent of unfinished carpentry to be completed. Well, I wish we didnt even have him step foot back in the home because the damage he did with his - sorry - half ass crappy quality finish carpentry is costing us a lot more out of pocket expense to correct. Do yourself a favor read the bad reviews they are spot on. Luckily my husband happened to be at the satellite office one day recently when Dave showed up to discuss doing work for one of his coworkers. Dave if you are reading this - he told her right in front of you not to hire you and proceeded to show her pics of what you did and you received payment in full and how you left areas of our home. Our entire first floor has areas to be fixed! ! From flooring to walls to crown molding to door framing! You should be ashamed at the lack of quality of work and the lack of respect you show paying customers especially people you know!! . If you have hired him at least DO NOT pay in full until satisfied with his work and save yourself the headache some of his customers have detailed in posts. I resorted to asking friends online with pics of how he left things if they have EVER seen such horrible finished carpentry and those in trades told me you simply did this to cut corners cheaply and some of what you did was outrageous! At this point we actually think you did some of it to be a jerk because we had to resort to possibly taking you to court before you would even get back to my husband about settling up unfinished stuff! I mean really! You even drilled a half dollar size hole into vinyl planking right at my entry door filled it with wood filler where debris left under boards made it crack during your installation as last screw job

We worked with Dave Leone / Leone Remodeling for a major kitchen and adjoining room remodeled from August - November 2021. He's a phenomenal contractor, and we can say that from a place of some experience after having our upstairs gutted and redone by another person. He and his whole team are highly skilled, diligent in their work, professional, respectful of the people occupying the home, and 100% worth every penny. His quotes were accurate and very reasonable. When we made design changes, he adapted and didn't charge an arm and a leg. He gave excellent advice about materials to select and how to deal with the unevenness in the flooring between our kitchen and then-dining room. And he was a pleasure to work with! Always professional, always pleasant and hard-working. The results are simply beautiful -- it's been transformative to our whole downstairs. I'd love to be able to submit photos - because the before and afters really speak for themselves. Thanks so much Dave!
