I contacted Levi for a quote months ago. He came to my house promptly and provided a reasonable quote. Levi arrived on July 30, 2020 and laid the blacktop on my driveway. His crew was near 10 people. They worked quickly and efficiently.
I’m a FIRM believer you treat people right and they reciprocate. I purchased 5 pizzas, bought a case of water and ice and threw them in the cooler to treat Levi’s entire crew. It was a hot day and I understand how workers appreciate that. I also gave everyone a $20 bill at the end of the job.
If this could have been my review, I’d be singing this companies praises to everyone, but I’m NOT.
While the crew was here that day, I noticed they had paved over my water access to the street. I approached Levi and pointed that out. He admitted they mistakenly paved over it but said it would be easier to come back at a later time to cut the black top off the access. I agreed that would be acceptable.
Friday September 25, 2020- I contacted Levi via text and asked when he would be back to uncover the water access. NO RESPONSE Almost 2 months since my driveway was paved.
Sunday October 4, 2020- I once again text Levi and asked if he was planning on coming back to my place to uncover the water access.
Levi responded he has been very busy, he apologized and said he would get to my place THIS WEEK. I told him I understood it was his busy time. Over two months since they were here.
Monday November 2, 2020 I called Levi, and asked him if he is ever coming back. He once again said he would fit me in. We’re going on 4 months soon, Levi has not been back out to finish the job.
I’m tired of people treating me like a sucker. Does no one pride themselves or their company anymore? How do people stay in business when you treat customers like this. I’ve been MORE THAN PATIENT and understanding, yet keep getting strung along.
My mistake was paying before the job was completed. GUARANTEE!!!! If I had not paid Levi at the end of the day, he would have been back to complete the work. Why must I call and badger someone to finish work they have been paid for already? This is how you treat a customer who provided food and drink AND TIP to a crew of ten.
Shame on you!
