    Mold Remediation

I was sick, Dr diagnosed me with black mold toxicity. I did an ERMI test which is what my Dr recommenced to test the house and see what kind of mold we had and how toxic it was. The ERMI SCORE WAS 8.2, interpretation Q4 Which means house was not safe to live in. The HERTSMI 18. It showed we had Aspergillus penicilloides, Aspergillus versicolor, Chaetomium globosum, Stachybotrys chartarum, Wallemia sebi. I was I was VERY sick from these molds. Stachybotray’s produces a mycotoxin called Trichothecene. Trichothecene is so deadly it’s used for bio chemical warfare. I was bedridden and my hair was falling out. I had all the confections that go with mold toxicity such as Epstein Barr Virus Reactivated, Chronic Immune response syndrome, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, and Multiple Chemical Sensitivities. Mold completely wipes out the immune system so other illnesses develop.

We called Art with Lifespan systems. We told him we had an ERMI test that showed our house was not safe to live in. I explained all this to Art. He said he was very familiar with mold illness, had suffered with it himself. I also had the co infections that go with it. Art said he could get the house safe to re enter and and that his protocol would pass and ERMI and HERTSMI. I told Art my Dr said not to re-enter the house until we got an ERMI interpretation of Q2 or less. He said his protocol would allow our house to pass an ERMI.

We hired Art with the understanding he would get us a clean ERMI on our house. Art instructed my husband to go in the crawlspace and remove the vapor barrier so Art could treat the crawl space. Art told me with a week after he treated there would be no trace of the chemicals he used.

After Art's remediation I waited one month as recommended by Biometrics and my Dr. Then I ran an Ermi test to make sure the house was safe to re-enter. Post Arts remediation the ERMI’s interpretation was Q3 and the HERTSMI 14. The house still had ALL the molds listed in the first paragraph, the spore count was a little lower, but it was still not safe to live in.

I told Art the ERMI and HERTSMI were not clean and we could not move back into the house. Art’s response to the ERMI and HERTSMI results was" I hate those tests I wish they were never invented." I asked him what kind of test he used. He said he sniffed the air and if it smelled clean it was free of mold!!! I have text messages where he confirms sniffing the air is one of his methods of testing along with looking at the color of the dust. I’m sorry but there's nothing scientific about sniffing the air and looking at the dust with a naked eye. Art said he remediated the “lazy man’s way” and that removing the mold spores was not necessary. he said hates the Ermi test because it exposes that the way he remediates does not remove mold spores and then the customer is unhappy. It was at this time Art informed us remediation does not remove mold spores. Art claims it denatures them. The problem is there is no way to test to see if mold spores are viable. Even Art admits this both in person and in text messages. My dr said the spores must they be removed. See surviving mold.com for all the details on how to properly and safely remediate.

Art bought a box fan for us to use. We met him in Othello to pick it up. He said it would clear out the mold spores left behind. It didn’t. Since then we have purchased 4 Air Doctors, they run 24 -7. Yet I still get sick when I go in the house.

After Arts remediation failed, we were concerned there was still a mold source that Art missed. I hired Jason from Kester Clear to reinspect. We paid Jason 3,000.00 He found mold and water damage in the laundry room in 2 places where a pipe leaked and in the master bath under the sink, that Art missed.

So after paying Art $18,000 to remediate our house, and $2, 500 for our mother in law apartment we ended up buying EC3 which both Jason Kester and my Dr who specializes in mold toxicity recommend and fogged the whole house. Ira also wiped down every square inch of the house along with every item in it, that's what must be done to get a good ERMI score.

It's been 6 months since Art remediated. I still cannot enter my house and Art has done nothing to make it right. Don't use this wack job.
