After an extensive search to find someone to build our new home, we found Mia to be one of the more educated builders in the area in the areas of green building techniques and willingness to take on a totally custom build. Mia and Laura managed the project well, and her team and subcontractors remained within the budget estimate and we didn't have any big surprises. They were and continue to be a pleasure to work with. Everything was very professional, and Mia took a personal interest in every detail - definitely required for this level of project. She understood the green building concepts that we wanted to use (unfortunately this is rare in our area at the moment), accommodated all our design and layout requests and requirements, and after looking at similar projects I would estimate them to be among the best at what they do. We ended up with a modern, tightly sealed, green, comfortable house and are so happy with the results. I would highly recommend Mia for any new building or remodel.

Absolutely do not work with Lifestyle Homes. They quit working on my property halfway through because apparently Chase wasn't paying them fast enough. So, they punished me (Not Chase) by quitting even though I had a signed contract with them and Chase was the one who was supposed to pay them. It wasn't my fault that Chase takes their time distributing funds to them. I had no ability to control that.
And even when Chase decided to release the funds to them, they still decided not to finish the house. And what's better is Chase actually overpayed them! Mia promised me she was going to send me the additional funds they were overpaid. But now it's been over two months and she still hasn't sent the funds back to me. Now she's claiming she doesn't owe me anything despite her text messages that clearly say she intends to send me the overpaid funds.
She has also now stopped responding to me. So, now she's forcing me to pursue legal action to reacquire those funds. She should've never kept those funds. They were not hers and her company wasn't owed them.
Now I'm sitting in a house with incomplete reconstruction because of false promises she made to finish it. Not to mention the crew worker who redid my kitchen and hallway spilled drywall all over the cabinets, stove, and refrigerator and never cleaned any of it up. They also left all of their supplies at my house and never came back to pick them up.
I am horrified by this company's unprofessionalism. I will never hire them again and I'm going to contact my lawyer to pursue legal action.
