BEWARE!!! Do NOT use Lima’s Hardwood Flooring LLC.
We had to pay over $4k to have a professional come in and repair their work and have the floors completely stripped and refinished.
BAD QUALITY: I can’t stress enough how poor the quality of work was done by Lucas Lima. 5 cracked boards were installed that we had to replace later. He used the wrong color of wood filler for knots (told us there are only 2 colors to choose, which was a lie). He then proceeded to use Magic Markers to scribble over the filler and putty. It literally looked like a 5yr old scribbled all over the floors! Left big white stain ring around refrigerator. Lied about staining behind fridge.
Blamed their BAD quality of work (which was human error) on the grade of wood.
UNPROFFESSIONAL: Showed up with NO tools, had to borrow mine every time he came. Was over an hour late every single day. Brought 3yr old kid to worksite (who drew on our floors with a magic marker).
NO-SHOW: After rearranging our work schedule, Lucas did not show up one of the days as promised.
RUDE: Asked my wife for full payment way before work was completed because “his employees were waiting on it”.
His wife Anna text my wife also saying “our workers are waiting to get paid because you haven’t paid us” (before job was completed). At one point Luca’s wife Anna became very argumentative when discussing issues with the floor, so much so that she had to be asked to leave our home!
UNETHICAL: We were lied to numerous times by Lucas! His wife goes by different alias (Ana Paula Silva).
After doing a google search their company’s reviews, I found that the majority of “positive” reviews were posted by all family members.
I recommend staying as far away from this company as possible! Do you research and hire a true professional so that you don’t have to learn the hard way like we did.
