Lin-Dell Electric Co., Inc. celebrates over a half-century of service in the Nashville area, including metropolitan Nashville and surrounding cities and counties. When Robert “Rob” Swindell, Jr., accepted the position of president in 2006, he followed a line of excellence in the electrical industry that began with his great-grandfather, Will Putman, who started the company in the 1930′s. When Putman’s son-in-law Paul E. Swindell moved to Nashville in the mid 1940s, he began working in the family business.

In 1947, he joined with Warren Link to grow the company to fit the electrical needs of Nashville as it continued to grow. Together, they renamed the company Lin-Dell to represent the new partnership. Robert “Bob” Swindell joined his father in 1973, buying out Warren Link after his retirement and returning the company to full ownership by the Swindell family. Our business philosophy has been handed down through the generations. Lin-Dell Electric Company was built on the principles of installing reliable, state-of-the art products, and providing unmatched service years after installation is complete. We work with a “customer-first” approach, thinking of your family and business needs as we serve you.

    They were prompt came at the time scheduled. The serviceman was knowledgeable and quickly resolved the problem. The serviceman took care in keeping other areas clean. Completed the task without extra sales pushing.
